Recent CCCF grants help Hospice of Northwest Michigan’s Marketing & Outreach Goals
The Charlevoix County Community Foundation recently awarded Hospice of Northwest Michigan a $5,000 and $500 grant, based upon the recognized need for developing a long term marketing plan and supporting materials for community outreach and education. Amy Wieland, Executive Director, said part of the funding will be used to support the agency’s education and outreach initiative that enables our community to better understand the Who, What, Where, Why and When of Hospice care and that they have a Choice in that care. The other portion will provide the resources needed to develop the marketing plan to reinforce this message. This support of the organizations capacity will enable our organization to continue to provide educated choice for our community families.
“We are extremely grateful to the Charlevoix County Community Foundation for supporting our community services through this grant and recognizing our services as a valued choice,” Wieland said. “They have enabled us to more effectively reach out to those who need and depend on Hospice of Northwest Michigan and to ensure that we are able to provide the best possible care.” According to Wieland, the continued outstanding support from the Charlevoix County Community Foundation will positively impact our community friends and neighbors well into the future.
