Hospice is not about giving up or losing hope. Hospice is actually a piece of your life plan that provide you and your family the tools and support you need when choosing comfort over cure. Comfort care is about choosing to have a quality life as the priority. It is about letting go of treatments that are no longer helping and saying no to medical interventions that provide no lasting benefit.
It’s about making Life Moments Happen every moment of you live, with dignity and peace. It is not a death sentence.
We all begin dying the day we are born, most of us have no idea what day it will happen. The blessing hospice patients and families have is that the spotlight has now been put on living each day fully in lieu of going through each day like you have an unlimited amount of time.
“Your Mother is Always with you. She lives inside your laughter. She is the place you came from, your first home and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. Nothing on earth can separate you…not time, not space….not even death.”
In Honor & Memory of all of the Mothers and Women who represent what Mother’s Day is all about.
